Me and my big mouth here I am seven thousand feet in the air, sitting silently, cold sweat runs down my face, I'm glued to the seat of the sky diving plane.
Above the roar of the engine the pilot calls out "Time to jump." Bang! It hit me, a wave of fear caused the butterflies to mutiply! Slowly I get out of my seat, nerves churning and my guts flipping.
John, my sky diving instructor, was strapped to my back. Thank God he was there! He makes me feel safe.
I take two steps, than I hear the wind gushing past my face which makes me one hundred times more nervous. My eyes shut like an air tight room.
Nervously I slowly open my eyes, shivering with fear of the great jump.Over coming my nerves, I am going to jump. "1, 2, 3, Jump!" "Wow, this is amazing" I yell as I gaze into the view. In a couple of seconds all I can see is green grass. Then I relise I have jumped and I have lived!
Note to self: Never play dares with my brother!
